Hi, I'm Nick. I'm an actor and musician. I was born in Windsor, Ontario, Canada; I grew up in St. Louis, MO and have lived all around the country, from Maine to Arizona, New York City to Los Angeles. I've been a musician pretty much my whole life, singing and playing for as long as I can remember. I've performed on stage since an early age, first in elementary and high school plays and musicals, and later in professional Equity Houses around the country in shows such as "Altar Boyz" and "All Shook Up". Lately I've been doing a lot of film and commercial work, writing music in between shoots.
When I write, I like to make rich harmonies, big chords, and songs that make you happy, among other things. And I play a lot of styles, from rock to folk to indie, with a little funk, soul, and swing mixed in here and there. Some of my favorite bands and singers include The Beatles, Ben Folds, Creedence Clearwater Revival, and Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young. I love bands that give a shout out to the golden age of rock and roll, creating instant classics using only their instruments and voices and stories.
I love music. There probably isn't a moment that goes by when some song isn't swirling around in my noggin. I've been in all sorts of bands, playing punk, jazz, ska, and even country. Bass has been my instrument for almost 20 years, but I also play piano and guitar.
After playing in too many bands that don't remember how to smile, I decided to play what I want to play.
